About
The Department of Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation (DETSI) Employee Alterative Reporting Services (EARS)
The Employee Alternative Reporting Service (EARS) provides DETSI staff with an additional channel through which to report information about workplace concerns, anonymously if you wish. This could include concerns about bullying and harassment, discrimination, or workplace behaviours that are disrespectful etc.
The service is provided through an independent company, Stopline, whose primary purpose is to record staff concerns and provide this information back to the department for appropriate action.
You can find out more about responding to disrespect and other channels for reporting concerns on the DETSI intranet including:
- Lodging an individual employee grievance here
- Reporting Corrupt Conduct here
- Making a Public Interest Disclosure here
- You can also access information on a number of support services: here
The service includes:
- Dedicated hotline number, website and email address for employees to report workplace concerns
- Experienced Stopline staff taking the calls and analysing the reports
- Timely reporting of incidents to dedicated representatives within the DETSI
Stopline has been at the forefront of disclosure management services for over a decade and has partnered with some of Australia’s most iconic companies to assist them in demonstrating their commitment to supporting staff, contractors and other stakeholders with demonstrable best practice corporate governance initiatives.
